Panel positioning
The panels are interconnected by a plaster connector module. They lie on the round-edged flat of the beams to ensure a correct bearing surface.
Attachment
Panels are either screwed to the beams or glued using a polyurethane mastic. The connector module is applied dray against the panel and is glued to the beam.
Cutting
The panels are cut with a circular saw both lengthwise and widthwise (see the figure on the left).
| 1/ |
First screw a roof board onto each piece of wood on the back of the panel in order to keep the entire assembly rigid. Then you can cut the panel as required. |
| 2/ |
After finishing that step, insert and screw a new galvanized rail into the wood to hold the panel. |
You can thus integrate chimney flue blocks, spotlights, air conditioning, controlled mechanical ventilation, etc. |
